I’ve got three of life’s little dilemmas that I’d love your help to solve. None are huge, but all are weighing on my mind a little and I’m confused about what to do. What do you think?
Dilemma 1
My rather non-sporty son is the only boy in his class who didn’t make it into the school’s soccer team. Which means that on Friday mornings when all the boys go off to soccer to compete against other schools, he’s left in a class full of girls. Which is just fine, of course and I’m not the kind that wants every kid to win a prize, but I still think it’s a bit sad that they couldn’t stick him in a uniform, give him a run onto the field every now and then and let him be with the other boys. Should I say something? What do you think?
Dilemma 2
There’s a really lovely mum at the school who doesn’t understand why her daughter isn’t making friends very easily. I agree that her child is a sweet little thing with lots to offer her friends, but I have it on good authority from the Badoo that she can also be so mean that the other girls don’t want to play with her. The girl’s mum is obviously completely in the dark about this and I don’t know if I want to be the one to tell her. But I should, shouldn’t I?
Dilemma 3
I posted about this on Facebook earlier today, but I’m still not sure whether adding a “Read more” to my posts is appreciated by readers as it makes my blog easier to navigate or annoying when they have to click through to keep reading. When people first starting doing it I thought they were just doing it to get more page impressions for their blog, so…. you know. So tell me, should I add a read more or not?
Isn’t it funny the little things that get us stumped as we go along this crazy life. The big things, I’m much better at handling!! Let me know what you’d do with any or all of these little dilemmas and I’ll be ever so grateful.
Enjoy your weekend and happy reading! I promise to read more of your posts this week!!!
