Oh my. The loveliest thing happened to me today. I opened my mailbox to find a package from Brenda at Mira Narnie. She had told me she would send me a ‘small gift’ to thank me for doing a bit of work around her blog for her.
Her small gift turned out to be the kind of gift that takes your breath away with its thoughtfulness.
Brenda made Cappers a lovely little dress in sweet floral blue fabrics. In fact, the very same reversible frock that I so admired in my post a couple of weeks ago and bemoaned never getting around to making.
I’d love to post you a picture of Cappers wearing the sweet little reversible frock that Brenda sewed for her, but our camera is broken. Bloody camera. But back to the thoughtful frock. It fits Cappers like a glove, but The Badoo really fancies herself in it too (she has it on over her pjyamas as I type!) I can’t believe how thoughtful it is for Brenda to make us one.
How lovely is that?

Very lovely! Brenda is such a lovely blogging friend to have!
Mira Narnie says
yay! i’m glad it arrived and I’m so happy it made your little one’s happy. Originally i thought it would be for The Badoo – but hey, even better that it fits Cappers, coz now both can get some wear out of it! Send me a picture when that camera is working ;-))

That’s so sweet. You’ve got to love a friend who sews. 🙂

This is indeed very sweet. I love little surprises like those. And I wish I could sew 🙂

Random acts of kindness completely rock and sews. That is priceless
