Not sure about you, but now that the weather is heating up around here (well sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t! What a weird Spring we’re having!) I find myself with less and less time to blog.
Is it that I’d rather be outside?
Is it that work is busier this time of year?
Is it that I’m tired as we gear up for the silly season?
It’s a little bit of all of that. To be honest, I think I’ve just lost my blogging spark (my blark) a little bit. Then, this week, someone dear to me has had what can only be called a blogging disaster and I just feel like taking a mini-blogcation out of support for her.
It’s very mini. I’ll be back for Grateful Saturday (‘cos, let’s face it, I can’t miss my gratefuls – won’t you join me?)… enjoy yourself until then. x

Blogging is a sport for whenever you have time! 🙂 I think people would probably tend to blog more during the winter though because of the shorter days and all the gloomy cold weather preventing us from going outside!

I try ot pace myself at 3 posts a week, that’s pretty managable rain, hail or shine. Now my husband is home, i realise blogging is a husbandless sport!! See, i’m quickly blogging & commenting now as he’s taking the 4 children to school then the dentist, my time is ‘untraceable’ as i am meant to be sewing!! Love Posie

The thing about blogging is there are no rules as to how often you should be blogging, you can spend a few weeks just reading or away all together if you see fit.
I do agree though, i am struggling with the time and when i have it my brain is asleep and frankly i am too scared to post what i write when my brain is half asleep.
Enjoy your mini break!!

It is hard to justify sitting at a computer when it is lovley outside!

That’s why you have a laptop, so you can take it outside with you while you enjoy the beautiful weather!

Blark – ha ha! My blark comes and goes at different stages through the week. Today is the perfect blogging day weather-wise where I am but I’m tired and can’t locate my blark. What’s this blogging disaster you speak of? Intriguing … enjoy your mini-break. Kellie xx

I had just been pondering how you manage to produce a wonderful post EVERY FRIGGIN’ DAY, rain hail or shine, so I’m glad to see you are only human 😉 Seriously though, I think we all burn out from time to time, and if my experience is anything to go by, after a few days (or more) off blogger, suddenly the juices start flowing again!

I absolutely agree with this as I’ve been thinking the same thing…now the sun’s out I’m away from the laptop so much more. Still, I’ll be here next winter to read your longer and more frequent posts x

Normal, hon. Over the past year I’ve been blogging, I’ve had periods where I just didn’t feel like it, and I just felt it wasn’t happening…a little break now and then is good.
Last year, I found it got quiet towards Christmas. People had less time to both blog and read blogs, I guess – too busy shopping and celebrating! That’s ok.
You’ll be back on board before you know it with the need to write.
Will miss you tho – even for a couple of days!

Blark. Love it.
I hope all is OK,blogging disaster issues make me fret. (Well, disasters of any kind, especially to those close, they all make me fret….)
Blogging is beautiful because it is NOT work, and can be left in peace for a while. We will all wait for whenever you can post.
xx

wishing you lots of blarky moments soon.
Human nature makes me very curious about this blogging disaster though….
see you soon for grateful saturday.

Hope your friend is okay. Blogging disasters can impact real life, have seen a few train wrecks in my time in the blogosphere and they generally make me want to back off a bit too. Enjoy the sun, rain or in between!

I know what you mean about losing your blark, I have had to encourage myself somedays to sit at my computer and work on my blog, that can’t be healthy for either myself (this is meant to be a hobby I enjoy) or my blog (I obviously can’t be churning out inspirational posts when I feel less than inspirational myself)
I hope the rest/blogcation has served you well and you come back ready to take on the world!!
🙂 Hazel

excellent observations – i think that all of that is true – i’ve noticed it around the blogosphere a lot of late.
now with extra daylight – there is all that time for gardens and bike rides – less blog time – but that’s ok 🙂
have a great blog-cation !

Hi Lovely. I’m having a bit of a blark myself at the moment. I find it comes and goes in waves. I haven’t yet found a blogging rythmn and my blogs tend to occur when I have something on my mind or something touches my heart. I love your blog and am finally catching up on about 3 weeks of posts. You make me feel calm and relaxed. xxx
