Come on down, Tas from Little Boozle!
Have a lovely Saturday evening, everyone. I’m making a roast for dinner and eating that roast is what I’m doing tonight.
Today I found some brilliant ways to beat that horrible Clutter Monster to the curb. I posted my top 16 tips over on Village Voices in my new segment “Collected”. “Collected” is kind of a revamped “Things I learned this week” and I am in love!
What’s your number one way to beat clutter?
What are you having for dinner tonight?

Woohoo for me. Thanks, Bron. Very happy camper here 🙂
Dinner tonight is soup on the go. Cleaning and party prep for the just turned 5 year old tomorrow happening here. ep, a huge Saturday night.
No help on the clutter solutions though my recent carpet beetle infestation did cause me to spring clean the whole house and get rid of a lot. Possibly not the best way to do it.

Roast, yum! We had shephard’s pie (I made two last night, which meant no actual cooking tonight, yey). My number one tip to beat clutter is to have a home for EVERYTHING (I am yet to master putting everything back into its home though). Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Roast beef, yorkshire pud, roast yams, spud and pumpkin…swimming in gravy for tea. My grandmother always said her top tip was not to invite it (clutter) into the house. Easier said than done, although I have hit the clutter hot spot (above the microwave) with some little labelled tubs for random stuff – that works well. What’s not so easy is retraining my dearest to put his shoes/briefcase/jacket in our room rather than draped over the sofa.

Potatoes cooked in foil on the fire with, cheese, lentils, pickles and ham for the littlies. Declutter suggestions I need, shifting house is a good motivator but we haven’t done that for 8 years so things are gathering.
